Executive Officer, Naval Mobile Construction Battalion THREE

LCDR Wienrich was born in Hinsdale, IL and grew up in Orlando, FL. Upon graduation from high school in 1994 she entered the United States Naval Academy. She graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and was on her way to Pensacola, FL to join the ranks of Naval Aviation.

LCDR Wienrich earned her “Wings of Gold” on December 3, 1999 as an Unrestricted Naval Aviator, graduating at the top of her class. She was selected to fly the SH-60F Seahawk, and traveled to San Diego, CA, re-porting to Helicopter Anti Submarine Squadron TEN. While at HS-10 she served as the Educational Services Of?cer, Personnel Of?cer, Public Affairs Of?cer, and Sponsor Coordinator.

In March 2002, LCDR Wienrich transferred to the Civil Engineer Corps. She spent two months at the Public Works Office at Naval Air Station North Island, as the Emergency Management Coordinator, before heading to Civil Engineer Corps Of?cer School in May 2002.

Upon graduation from CECOS in August 2002, LCDR Wienrich reported to the Navy Public Works Center Norfolk, VA as the Facilities Operations Of?cer, Naval Air Station Oceana. She was then assigned as the Facilities Operations Of?cer, Naval Support Activity Northwest Annex. While assigned to the Northwest Annex, she led the base recovery efforts after Hurricane Isabel in September 2003.

In July 2004, LCDR Wienrich departed Public Works Center Norfolk, VA for Gulfport, MS, where she was assigned as the Deputy Resident Offcer in Charge of Construction for the Gulf Coast Area. During her time at ROICC Gulf Coast she was an integral part of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command’s recovery following Hurricane Katrina.

In April 2006 LCDR Wienrich departed ROICC Gulf Coast for NMCB 74 where she served as the Alfa Company Commander from April 2006 until August 2006. She served as the Detail Guam Operations Officer from September 2006 until April 2007. During NMCB 74’s 2008-09 deployment she served as the DFT Trinidad Officer in Charge.

In August 2009, LCDR Wienrich graduated from the University of Florida with a Master’s of Engineering in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Construction Engineering. Following graduate school she reported to Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command in Bahrain in August 2009 as the Assistant Force Engineer. In July 2011 LCDR Wienrich transferred to Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest, where she served as the Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division Director for Naval Base Coronado, CA. Following a year in Coronado, CA she transferred to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion THREE in Port Hueneme, CA. where she currently serves as the Executive Officer.

LCDR Wienrich is a qualifed Naval Aviator, qualified Seabee Combat Warfare Officer, a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida, JPME I qualified, Contracting Level III qualified, and a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps. Her personal awards include a Meritorious Service Medal, four Navy Commendation Medal, an Army Commendation Medal and two Navy Achievement Medals.
